“In a city that’s demanding and often self-reinforcing, Central continues to shape our understanding of what it means to live gospel-centered lives. Through its teaching, worship, and community, Central grounds us in the gospel week after week. Community Groups, in particular, have been a place where we’ve felt supported and encouraged through both our highs and lows, and where we’ve seen the church’s ‘hospital, not a museum’ mission lived out in real ways. It looks like people being honest about what they’re carrying, showing up for one another, and reminding one another that spiritual growth usually happens in life’s messy moments, not after we clean ourselves up. We are so thankful for the gift that Central is to us and to so many!”
In 2 Corinthians 8, as Paul speaks on generosity, he interestingly never uses the word "money"; instead, he speaks of "grace." He calls the Corinthians — and by extension, us — to excel in this act of grace. As 2025 comes to a close, consider how you might contribute to stories of grace at Central.
