A Day in the Life of Jesus
During this Lenten season, as we prepare our hearts and minds to remember and celebrate the life-changing events of Good Friday and Easter, we will journey through a sermon series entitled “A Day in the Life of Jesus.” Each week, we will explore brief but powerful vignettes from the gospels, seeking a realistic, behind-the-scenes glimpse into a typical day in Jesus’ earthly ministry. What did the crowds see? What did the disciples observe? What can we learn from the way Jesus lived and loved in quiet moments as well as dramatic ones? As we walk with Jesus in the ordinary rhythms of his daily life, our prayer is that we will not only better understand his death and resurrection but also be transformed to become more like him.

Despite our background or familiarity with the Bible, we all have questions about the Christian faith. It has become increasingly more difficult to separate authentic Christianity from its counterfeits and to know where to turn to make sense of how Jesus' message applies to our own lives and to the issues of our day. Christianity is oftentimes twisted and distorted by people with their own agenda, which makes it all the more difficult to figure out who Jesus really is and what he's all about.
